Merry Oaks, the home of Gail Boyd on North Alexander Avenue, was the scene of the Iris Garden Club Spring Salad Luncheon on Tuesday, May 9.

Hostesses for the occasion were Nita Latimer, Nobie Keener, Betty Lee and Sharlene Zima.

Karen Stubbs, president, conducted the business meeting and numerous committee reports were given including those pertaining to Garden Therapy and the new cookbook in the making.

It was announced that National Garden Week is June 4-11. Laura Toburen will provide a display about this at the Mary Willis Library.

Following the meeting a delicious covered dish salad luncheon and time of fellowship was enjoyed.
