Frances D. Daniel
Funeral services for Frances D. Daniel, 88, of Lawrenceville were held Friday, June 2, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church, Washington, with Rev. Roy Cates officiating. She died Wednesday, May 31.
Mrs. Daniel was a native of Wilkes County and was the widow of Henry J. Daniel. She was an educator who taught 37 years, 35 of these in Gwinnett County. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women in 1939 and received many awards through the years, retiring in May 1984. She was inducted into the Gwinnett County Hall of Fame in 1979 for outstanding
service in education. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville.
Survivors include her children, Aubrey (Daniel, Graham) and George Sensibar, of Dacula, and Jeff and Carol Daniel, Washington; grandchildren, Tara and Dave Josephson, Dacula, Tammy and Harry Brantley, Conyers, Jeffery and Debbie Daniel, Bishop, Natalie and Corey Satterfield, Greenville, S.C.; and 14 great-grandchildren.
