To give the Washington Rotary Club some idea of how long he'd been an EMT, Wilkes County EMS Director Blake Thomson showed a photo of a younger, skinnier Blake, and told about how far Wilkes County emergency medical service has come in his 30-plus years caring for the sick and injured.
