Amanda Kirkland Smith was guest of honor at a baby shower given by her aunts, Peggy Jones of Washington and Eloise Prince of Clayton, on Saturday, May 20, at The Fitzpatrick Hotel.

In honor of the occasion Mrs. Smith was presented a corsage of daisies accented with a blue and white gingham bow.

Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods and punch from the refreshment table centered with a lovely arrangement of yellow and white carnations.

The gift table held a display of red and white amaryllis on a red, yellow and blue baby quilt.

The hostesses presented Mrs. Smith a baby stroller and car seat.

Thirty guests attended and included the prospective grandmother, Judy Kirkland, and great-grandmother, Rua Bell Davis, both of Washington.
