Den'nise Booker celebrates sixth birthday on May 26
Lillian Den'nise Booker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis J. Booker of Washington, was six years old on Friday, May 26, and celebrated on several occasions.
Den'nise was treated to an early celebration with her 17 kindergarten classmates on Wednesday, May 17. After singing "Happy Birthday" to Den'nise, everyone enjoyed an afternoon snack of mini-cupcakes, Cheetos and Kool-Aid Jammers, served by her mother and the paraprofessional. All the children were given goody bags to take home.
On her birthday Den'nise spent the morning at home playing with her two-month-old sister, E'Liza. In the mid-afternoon after cheerleading practice, she and the other Eaglet cheerleaders were served Barbie birthday cake and ice cream by her big sister, Angoneckia, who was visiting from her home in South Carolina. All were given pocketbookshaped goody bags in honor of Den'nise's birthday.
While waiting for her parents to get off from work, Den'nise spent the afternoon playing with her cousin, Jermeicia Gladmon.
To end her birthday celebration, Den'nise was taken to her favorite restaurant, Ryan's, for a family dinner. She was surprised with a minichocolate chip cookie ice cream cake after being sung "Happy Birthday" to by the Ryan's staff.
