Emily Linares celebrates first birthday May 24

Emily Linares, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Linares of Washington, was one year old on May 24 and celebrated on several occasions.

Emily celebrated with her daycare friends at the home of Mrs. Cary Gilland. Everyone enjoyed cake made by Mrs. Gilland. That evening Emily celebrated at the Olive Garden in Augusta with her parents and brother, Brandon. Cake was served after the meal.

On Saturday, May 27, Emily was treated to a party at her home. A Strawberry Shortcake theme was used. Her cake was made by Mrs. Tommy Saggus and Emily also had her own individual smaller cake to enjoy.

Mr. and Mrs. Newton Gunter prepared a birthday dinner of meatballs, chicken drummettes, vegetable tray, fruit tray, cheese ring and crackers and punch. Cake and ice cream were served afterwards.

Celebrating with Emily were her parents; her brother, Brandon; Mrs. Tommy Young, Mrs. Eloisa Heredia, Ricky Fanning, Mrs. Steve Woods, Amanda Woods, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Morrison, Mrs. Ann Gunter, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Gunter, Mrs. David Ogletree, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bryant and Joshua, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Harris, Virginia Witcraft, and Mrs. Jeannie Bruce, Joni and Jennifer.
