Vacation Bible School (VBS) at the First United Methodist Church, Washington, will begin Sunday, June 18, and continue through Thursday, June 22.

All children three years old through those just completing the fifth grade are invited to attend the sessions to be held Sunday through Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

On Thursday evening, family members are encouraged to attend the closing program at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Immediately following the program, a celebration will be held in the fellowship hall.

This year's theme is "Adventure of the Treasure Seekers." Each night, participants will begin at "The Big Dig" where they will dig into the scriptures to find God's promises.

"Children will learn how to develop a better relationship with God by studying a different biblical character each night," says VBS Director Janet Pharr. "They will also have exciting activities in music, recreation, and crafts."

To register for "Adventure of the Treasure Seekers," interested persons may call the church office at 706-678-7116 before June 16. Preregistration is encouraged if at all possible.
