Lundberg News Mr. and Mrs. Philip Huff of Athens visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Sunday afternoon. She is recovering from her recent accident. Her right arm was broken and cut. It is healing nicely. She had surgery on her shoulder and will be in a cast for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty spent several days at the lake in Elbert County. Whitney Branham enjoyed the week with the 4-H Club at Rock Eagle in Eatonton. Benjamin Hodges spent Wednesday night with Charlie Branham. I heard not much sleeping was done. I think 10 year old boys think it's cool to sit up all night. Tad Hopkins of Atlanta visited his grandmother, Mrs. Iris Dyson, Saturday afternoon. Josh Caldwell, his father, Danny Caldwell, and brother, Jack Caldwell, of McCaysville, and Brett Parsons of Watkinsville visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Sunday night. The Caldwells are members of Harber Ministries Baptist Church in McCaysville and are conducting a three-week mission program for children in Taliaferro County. We are so thankful for the wonderful rain on Friday night and Sunday night and are predicted to receive more during this week. Kinsey Branham visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer and Ray Branham, Whitney and Charlie Sunday evening. I hope everyone will have a good and safe Fourth of July. |
