Graveside services for Louise Ivie Deas, 93, of Washington were held Monday, June 26, 2006, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, with Rev. Albert W. Huyck Jr. officiating. She died Saturday, June 24, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Deas was a native of Oconee County and had lived in Washington more than 30 years. She had served as a caregiver at Gracewood State Hospital in Augusta and was a member of the First Baptist

Church, Washington. She was the daughter of the late William Claude Ivie and Beulah Emerick Ivie, and was the widow of Henry Grady Deas.

Survivors include two nephews and their wives, Ronnie and Karen Chapman, Lewisville, Texas, and Larry and Stephanie Chapman, Washington; and a niece, Linda P. Buck of Roswell.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
