Funeral services for Robert Henry (Buddy) Wilson of Thomson were held Sunday, June 25, 2006, at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson, with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating. Graveside services followed at 4 p.m. in the Mallorysville Baptist Church Cemetery, Tignall, with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. He died June 22 at his residence.

Mr. Wilson was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of Lucy Richards of Thomson and the late John Henry Wilson of Tignall. He was retired as a carpenter and welldriller and was a member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jewell Cranford Wilson, Thomson; three sons, Mike Cushman, Mark Wilson, and Wayne Wilson, Thomson; a daughter, Cindy Osborne, Thomson; a brother, Ray Wilson, Elberton; a sister, Barbara Scott, Laurens, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers included Buck Anderson, Edgar Hendrick, Shawn Epps, Chris Almon, Darren Scott, and Jared Scott. Stan Driver and Bobby Scott served as honorary pallbearers.

Beggs Funeral Home of Thomson was in charge of arrangements.
