Graveside services for Mary Reynolds Callaway, 82, of Union Pint were held Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point with Rev. Lem Clark officiating. She died Monday, June 26, at her residence.

Mrs. Callaway was a lifelong resident of Greene County and was the daughter of the late William Alva Reynolds and Virginia Moody Reynolds. She and her husband, Malcolm H. Callaway Jr. of Union Point, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October 2005. Along with her husband she owned and operated Callaway Funeral Home in Union Point for 45 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Union Point.

Survivors include her husband, Malcolm H. Callaway Jr. of Union Point; two daughters, Beth Callaway Hunt and her husband Jim of Ellijay, and Kittie Callaway Caston and her husband Richard of Acworth; three grandchildren, Rachel Hunt Tidwell, James Hunt, and Cristina Caston.
