The First Baptist Church of Washington will have a special patriotic service during the morning worship service on Sunday, July 2.

During the service, the Senior Choir, directed by Patricia B. Burton, director of music for the church, will present a short musical entitled "God Bless America," arranged by Tom Fettke and orchestrated by Richard Kingsmore.

The musical includes several favorite patriotic melodies including "My Country 'Tis of Thee," "Battle Hymn of the Republic," "God of Our Fathers," "The Star Spangled Banner," "America the Beautiful," and the ever popular "God Bless America."

Dr. Charles Strickland, interim pastor of First Baptist, will bring a short patriotic message.

The pastor and music director extend an invitation to anyone interested in attending the program to be present for this special service.
