Are you familiar with the Victory Baptist Church on the Newtown Road?

I've lived in Newtown for 24 years. Some time ago they started putting wordings on their outside sign. About twice a month they put up different ones, sometimes scriptures and sometimes just old wise sayings.

I was visiting my niece in Augusta several weeks ago and I happened to pass by a church where their sign read, "Jesus is my rock and I'm on His roll."

I immediately thought of the Victory Baptist Church out here and I said to myself, "I'll bet they'd love to use that." So I wrote a letter addressing it to the Victory Baptist Church and told them about it and asked them if they would use it on their sign next time.

Well, a week later as I rode by I noticed with a grin on my face that they had put it up.

I figured that if they thought it worthwhile to put it up then we should share it with everyone.
