A new Vacation Bible School adventure called "Trading Places" is about to begin at the Washington Presbyterian Church.

Vacation Bible School leaders are making sure passports are stamped and visas are ready for travel. Children ages four through 12 (Pre-K through sixth grade) are expected to discover as they travel that "Jesus Makes a World of Difference."

The fun-filled Vacation Bible School will begin Sunday, July 16, and continue through Thursday, July 20, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with a family picnic scheduled for Friday, July 21.

Children will be divided into tour teams and will visit exotic places where they will encounter children from all over the world. They will see where they live and learn some fascinating stories about their cultures. They will play their games, and hear exciting stories about how they came to know Jesus. Along the way, they will learn what it means to "trade places" with them.

Through hands-on activities the children and their leaders will visit Mexico, Brazil, Poland, China, and Kenya to see how children all over the world can worship the same God.

"The week will be packed full of challenges and excitement, including passport praises, non-stop fun and games, and first-class crafts," says Vacation Bible School Director Adele Seymour. "So grab those duffel bags and cameras and join us."
