GSP investigates traffic accidents during June here

State Troopers from the Washington Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated 11 traffic crashes during the month of June in Wilkes County.
Sergeant First Class Derrick Durden said the traffic crashes resulted in 12 injuries. There were no fatalities.
SFC Durden said troopers from Post 17 also issued 141 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes seven arrests for driving under the influence; 69 citations for speeding; 22 seat belt violations; and four child restraint violations.
Troopers also issued 163 warnings.
