Funeral services for Ingeburg Abendroth Bailey Rice, 72, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Tignall, were held Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died July 4 at her residence.

Mrs. Rice was a native of West Germany and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Hildergard Abendroth. She was the widow of Joel Bailey Jr. and Herb Rice.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jurgen and Michelle Bailey, Ridgetop, Tennessee; a step-daughter, Kimberlee Foster, Bennington, Vermont; a sister, Gerlinde Griffin, Fayetteville, N.C.; and a granddaughter, Brianna Bailey, Ridgetop, Tennessee.

Pallbearers included Carl Bailey Jr., Thomas Bailey, Charles Heard, Joe Heard, Darryl Albea and Ben Norman.
