Mr. and Mrs. James Andrew Meech of Washington announce the birth of their son, Thomas Andrew, on Wednesday, June 28, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens. Andrew weighed 6 lbs. 6 ozs. and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Sisson of Washington. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Terrell Ray of Raytown and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lloyd Sisson of Washington.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Meech of Greensboro, N.C., and the late Mrs. Beatrice Britton Meech, formerly of Kalamazoo, Mich. Paternal greatgrandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Ambrose Britton of Kalamazoo and Harry Meech and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Meech of Titusville, Fla.

Mrs. Meech is the former Katy Sisson of Washington.
