Betty Bufford Walton of Tignall was honored on her 60th birthday at a celebration at the Tignall Gym on Saturday, June 17, given by her son and daughter-inlaw, Eugene and Naomi Walton of Jacksonville, Fla. Her birthday was June 13.

Delicious party foods and punch were served with her birthday cake decorated in orange and white.

Joining in the celebration with Mrs. Walton and the hosts were her sons, George Walton Jr., Stanley Walton and Bobby Walton of Tignall and their families; Mrs. Walton's mother, Elizabeth Bufford of Tignall; her goddaughters, Carolyn Smith of Tignall and Angela Bufford of Washington and their families; and a host of friends and extended family.

Mrs. Walton received many cards, calls and gifts. A most special gift was a new car presented to her by the hosts.
