Jennifer, Dora Rice celebrate birthdays with two parties

Jennifer and Dora Rice Jennifer and Dora Rice Jennifer Ruth and Dora Ruth Rice, daughters of Kenneth Rice and Dr. Angela Butler-Rice of Washington, celebrated their birthdays with two parties.

Jennifer was six years old on June 12 and Dora was three on July 11.

The girls were honored by their grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Fuller, on July 1 at her home in Asheville, N.C. Their cousin, Jalen Scott of Rock Hill, S.C., who will be eight on July 29, joined in the honors. A delicious meal of fish, salad, corn, hamburgers, cake and soda was prepared by aunts, Kim Miller and Mildred Scott. The remainder of the evening was filled with fun as the children enjoyed water gun fights, loud firecrackers and movies.

Other family members in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Tyrone Scott, Sharon Rice, LaBrea Baird, Shaina Young, Keith Speas, Marcus Miller and Keva Miller.

Jennifer and Dora also celebrated in Washington at a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, salad and a homemade cake with sparklers, hosted by friends, Myles, Mya and Micah Bell, children and David and Tijuanna Bell.
