District Governor installs new Rotarian

Dr. Lester Johnston (left) was inducted as the newest member of the Washington Rotary Club and was installed by Rotary District Governor J.V. Vlass (right) during a special ceremony at the club's regular meeting on July 20. Also on hand for the meeting was Assistant District Governor Paul Matthews, of Athens. Vlass also attended the club's board meeting and then addressed the club during the lunch hour, reminding members of the importance of Rotary programs and community involvement. Standing in for Johnston's sponsoring member, Anna Norman, was club president Tammy Bryngelson (second from left).
