Funeral services for Naomi M. Crew, 79, of Church Street, Washington, were held Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Springfield Baptist Church, Washington, with Pastor L. Dante Smith officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington. She died Tuesday, July 18, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Naomi Crew was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Willie Marshall and Carrie Lizzie Crew. She was a member

of Springfield Baptist Church and received her education from the Wilkes County School System and Albany State College.

Survivors include two sons, Fred Crew and Charles Crew; a stepmother, Bertha Crew; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
