Alline Morris, 91, of Crawfordville were held Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkes County with Rev. Lawrence Griffith officiating. She died Sunday, July 23, at GreenePoint Health Care Center in Union Point.

Mrs. Morris was a native of Wilkes County and lived most of her life in Taliaferro County. She was the daughter of the late William W. Hallford and Mary Myrtice Sims Hallford. She was a homemaker and a member of Clifford's Grove Baptist

Survivors include a son, William T. Morris, Chesapeake, Va.; a daughter, Juanita Morris Watson, Augusta; a sister, Willene Hallford Durham, Crawfordville; a brother, Ernest Addison Hallford, Washington; four grandchildren, Bonnie Pearson McCrary, Jessica Pearson Horne, William Terry Morris II of Portsmouth, and Thomas Crawford Morris, Chesapeake, Va.; and four great-grandchildren.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
