SUMNER Donnie Sumner, a Christian music artist, evangelist, composer,and author, will be performing at St. Paul Methodist Church in Lincolnton on Sunday, August 6 beginning at 6 p.m.

Sumner, who is a nephew of J.D. Sumner, is a Gaither Homecoming regular, a Grammy nominee, a Dove Award winner, and was an Elvis Presley aide for a number of years.

"He has a wonderful testimony and many interesting things to share," said a spokesman for the church, "and he is a dynamic gospel singer. Don't miss this great event!"

St. Paul's is located on the Thomson Highway outside Lincolnton.
