Cleanup day at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church will be this Saturday, August 5, beginning at 8 a.m. Members who can, please come and help out. Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Alline Hallford Morris who died Sunday, July 23. Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. She grew up in Lundberg and after her parents died she came back and lived for a time in the family home. Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty went to Augusta Monday and enjoyed having dinner at the Cracker Barrel. Tad Hopkins of Smyrna visited his grandmother, Mrs. Iris Dyson, Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Branham of McCaysville visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Caldwell of Statesboro spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer. They accompanied Mrs. Sherrer to services at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday morning and they all attended five o'clock services at the Wilkes County Baptist Church. Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Brad Sutherland attended homecoming services at Morningside Baptist Church Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer visited Mr. and Mrs. Bud Spinks in Carlton Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Gail Hammock of Warwich came Sunday and visited until Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer attended the concert performed by Reign Song trio at Rehoboth Baptist Church Saturday night.
