Phillips Mill plans homecoming day August 13, 11 a.m.

Phillips Mill Baptist Church will have its annual homecoming day on the second Sunday in August, August 13, at 11 a.m.

A covered dish meal will be provided following the service with the church providing the meat - chicken and ham.

All members, former members, and interested friends are encouraged to feel welcome to take part. The pastor, Rev. Robert Rayner, will be the speaker for homecoming day.

The evening service on Sunday will be at 6 p.m.

Please be much in prayer for revival services which will follow on Monday and continue through Wednesday. Services will be at 7 p.m. each evening with a different speaker each time.

The speaker on Monday night will be Rev. Dan Rosser, pastor of the Lincoln Baptist Church and music by Steve Rayner; Tuesday night, Rev. Russell Davis, pastor of New Works Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with music by Skip Padgett; and Wednesday night, Rev. Steve Rayner, pastor of the Rehoboth Baptist Church in the Metasville community. The Rehoboth Choir will present special music on Wednesday night.

Following the Wednesday service there will be a sandwich supper.
