An orientation meeting was held Thursday, July 27, for nine new teachers who have joined the Wilkes County School System for the 2006-2007 school year. As part of the meeting, the new teachers were taken on a short tour of the schools and the city of Washington. W-WCHS Assistant Principal Steve Echols and Curriculum Director Marie Echols served as bus driver and tour guide.
