Carlton Waller Hearn III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Waller Hearn Jr. of Augusta, celebrated his first birthday with a party at his home on Saturday, July 15. His birthday was July 11.

Waller's cake was two-tiered and shaped like stacked birthday presents with a bow made of icing. Waller also had his own personalized cake.

Guests enjoyed chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, fresh fruit, chips, cake and ice cream cups.

Celebrating with Waller and his parents were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lamar of Augusta and Dr. and Mrs. Carlton Hearn of Washington; uncle, aunt and cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Jackson and Sam, uncle, George Lamar, and cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davison, Bill Jr., Stephen and Crissie, all of Augusta, and uncle and cousin, Gil Hearn and Elise of Dunwoody.
