Same sex marriages

Down through the years my dad would preach that God intended it to be Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

About this controversy of same sex marriages many say the reason to vote against it or be against it should not be based on the Bible, but rather on secular considerations like when it would involve child rearing. Even with that consideration you have to go to the Bible.

In Proverbs 22:6, the Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

You see, man tries so hard to justify his wrong doings by trying to bypass the Bible, but always comes back full circle to the Word of God. The truth! The Bible supersedes man's laws and man's thoughts. The Bible is the great moral code book.

Even a majority of people who do not profess to be Christians live by this book of morals, principles and ethics. It's a great book and if you haven't read it, then read it sometime and it will answer many of your questions, but the trick is, you've got to read the whole book, not just a few scriptures here and there taking them out of context or twisting them to fit your case.

What does God say about same sex marriages? Well, read the book and find the answer. Amen!
