The expected anticipation was noticeable as the children boarded the bus with Rev. Chris Townsend as driver.

When the children arrived, they immediately saw big fields of pumpkins. There wer pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere. They were smooth and knotty, big and small, round and crooked, but enough for all. Each child got to pick out his own pumpkin to take home.

The children enjoyed the story of harvesting pumpkins and got to visit all the animals in the petting zoo. Some of the children loved touching the animals as they walked through the petting area. The hayride was another fun adventure as they bumped along.

After all the activities, the children enjoyed a picnic lunch with their teachers, Angie Paul and Jeannie Bruce, and chaperones.
