Lillie Crowe, the new director of the Mary Willis Library, will be featured on the program at the Friends of the Library meeting Thursday, October 19, at 3 p.m. in the meeting room.

Mrs. Crowe, assisted by her staff, will share the plans and responsibilities of each employee.

The Friends invites all members and patrons of the Mary Willis Library to attend the meeting. Refreshments will be served.

Executive Board members have been in the library each Tuesday and Friday from 1-3 p.m. to invite library patrons to become a Friend.

Friends of the Library meets three times yearly, October, February and May. The purpose of this organization is to focus attention upon library services, to encourage gifts, endowments and memorials for the library and to provide programs of literary and cultural interest.
