Evan Kain Harper, son of Wendi Harper and David Harper, was four years old on September 20 and celebrated on several occasions.

On his birthday Evan enjoyed a Superman party with his classmates and teachers at the First United M e t h o d i s t Church Preschool. Cookies, Cheetos, CapriSun juice boxes and party favors were shared with all his friends. Evan's mother and grandmother, Susan Chafin, enjoyed this celebration with him.

Evan was treated to a celebration on September 16 with family and friends at his home in Tignall. Guests were served grilled hot dogs, chips and drinks. Evan shared his celebration with friend, Tristan Hosting, of Rayle who was ten years old on September 24. Evan and Tristan's birthday cake featured a picture on them on it. Guests were served ice cream with the cake.

Celebrating with Evan and his mother were his grandparents, Mack and Susan Chafin; great-grandmother, Shirley Chafin; Haley Hill and friend, Amber Ware; great-aunts, Teri and Shelia Arnold; and Walker Young.

Celebrating with Tristan and his father were his sister, Lila Hosting and grandfather, Mark Hosting.

Friends celebrating with Evan and Tristan were Mandy McAvoy and Chelsea, Melissa Woody, Austin and Caleb, David and Hope Slaton, Daniel and Haileigh, Benny Johnson and Savana, Sherry Atkins, Landon, Trevor and Christopher Smith, and Mike and Kristy White, Andrew and Lita.

Evan's great-grandmother, Mary Gunter, was unable to attend but sent him a special gift.

Evan also celebrated with his father and other immediate family members on Saturday, September 23.
