Terry and Elaine Vinson of Greenville, S. C., attended Mule Day at Callaway Plantation on Saturday and visited his aunt, Virginia Ledbetter and her daughters, Linda Stapleton, who was visiting from McIntyre, Louise Walker and Gradee Ledbetter. The Vinsons also visited his niece, Nina Posey, and family while in Washington. This was the Vinson's first visit to welcome their new great-nephew, Alexander Posey.

Jim and Sue Davidson vacationed last week at Kill Devil Hills, N.C. Highlights of the trip included several nature tours and a special dinner on Thursday evening in honor of their wedding anniversary.

Landon Bishop of Adairsville and Neely Collum of Rockmart returned to their homes Monday night after a weekend visit with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bishop.

Cread and Alicia Brown, Luke and Porter, of Thomson joined Shirley Gunter for Mule Day festivities at Callaway Plantation Saturday.

Mike and Brooke Sanders of LaFayette, La., visited during the weekend with her grandparents, James and Emily Thornton. They joined in a birthday dinner celebration Sunday evening honoring Mr. Thornton's 85th birthday. Other guests with the Thorntons and Sanderses were Mary Donna Lunceford, Bob and Elizabeth Lunceford, Brett Lunceford and Thomas Fanning. A delicious low country boil was prepared by Bob and Elizabeth Lunceford.

Doug Pasco and guests, Mrs. Heidi Harris and Cheyenne, of Marietta were weekend guests of Mrs. E. E. Pasco.

John, Katherine, Anna and Caroline Gentry of Athens enjoyed Mule Day festivities at Callaway Plantation Saturday joining family, Edward and Susan Pope, Jr. and Edward, Susan and Wesley Pope.

Mr. and Mrs. John Overstreet have returned from a two and half week stay in Michigan. They enjoyed visits with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Evans in Ludington, their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Overstreet in Augres, and his brother, Dean Overstreet, in Garden City.
