First United Methodist Pre-K had a special visitor from the Washington- Wilkes Animal Shelter. Her name is Georgia (front) and she was a resident of an animal shelter before her owners, Scott and Julie Lewis, provided a loving home for her. "She came to tell the children how important the Animal Shelter is to our community," Julie Lewis said. "And she'd like to remind everyone to spay and neuter your pets."
