Steve and Eleanor Blackmon were joined by their son, Phillip Blackmon of Columbus, for several days visit in Roxboro, N.C., with their aunt, Edna Wilkerson, and other family members. +Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cook and Mr. and Mrs. Emory Sayer enjoyed several days last week at Fripp Island, S.C. +Visiting Hollis and Patsy Sanders Winn on Thursday and enjoying a 53-year reunion of Oglethorpe County High School were her former classmates, Mickey Reynolds Day of Crawford, Lily McWhorter McFarland and Carolyn Howard Paradise of Stephens, Jack Howard of Lexington and Alma Peterman Amason of Lincolnton. The group enjoyed touring around town and especially the Fitzpatrick Hotel.
