Davis and Coe to present WMH Tea and Learn program Nov. 9
Chief of Police Mike Davis and Dr. Stan Coe, Wills Memorial Hospital ER physician, will give a joint presentation on domestic violence at the Wills Memorial Hospital Tea and Learn on Thursday, November 9, at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital café. Both of these men have a world of knowledge in dealing with domestic violence and its effects.
Chief Davis assumed position as Chief of Police, Washington Police Department, in November l998. He has an impressive background in military police security. He retired as Installation Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army. Chief Davis re- sides in Washington with his wife, Teresa. They have four children, Mike, Lisa, Ben and Jacob.
Dr. Coe will complete the session in domestic violence. He is from Detroit, Mich. Dr. Coe served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and was thus inspired to enter the medical field.
He graduated from Kirkland College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirkland, Mo., in l988. His internship was completed at Michiana Community Hospital, South Bend, Ind., and his residence in Family Medicine at Fort Wayne Medical Education Program at Fort Wayne, Ind. Dr. Coe is board certified in Family Medicine and is presently serving as an emergency room physician at Wills Memorial Hospistal.
He and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Coe, reside in Washington with their children, Ian and Genevieve.
