Cornelia Johnson Circle members joining in the John Wesley study are (lr) Laura Toburen, Rev. Gale Seibert, Diane Thornton, Lefreda Adair and Pauline Bell. Several members of the Cornelia Johnson Circle of the First United Methodist Church shared in a study of John Wesley on St. Simons Island.

The group visited the Arthur Moore Museum at Epworth by the Sea, Fort Fredericka and Christ Church on the Island.

John Wesley, l736-37, along with his brother, Charles, spent about a year and a half on St. Simons Island ministering to the English settlers and local Indians.

Participating members included Laura Toburen, Rev. Gale Seibert, Diane Thornton, Lefreda Adair and Pauline Bell.
