Zula Mae Wright Pettway

Funeral services for Zula Mae Wright Pettway, 85, of Lincolnton were held Thursday, October 26, 2006, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lincolnton, with Rev. Roy Andrews officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Saturday, October 21.

Mrs. Pettway was a native of Lincolnton where she attended elementary school. She was a graduate of

Washington High School. She attended nursing school in Chicago, Ill.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. John Pettway, Washington; and two sisters, Doise Cunningham of Washington, D.C., and Percie Mae Norman, Charlotte, N.C.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
