Members and friends of Clifford's Grove Baptist Church who didn't come Sunday missed a good sermon by Rev. Martin and some delicious food at the covered dish lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance attended the Gideon Faith Fund Rally held at the Georgia Baptist Association Center Thursday night. Those visiting Mr. and Mrs. Evans Davis during the week were Mrs. Virginia Witcraft of Raytown, Lane Davis of Thomson, and Gerald Davis of Lincolnton. After undergoing a number of tests with her heart doctor in Augusta Wednesday, Mrs. James Sherrer received a good report. Visiting Mrs. Iris Dyson Sunday afternoon were her niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ansley of Thomson. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford of Thomson visited Mrs. Juanita Bradford Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Ricky McCarty spent the day Sunday with Mrs. Cheryl Holsclaw in Union Point. She also visited Mr. and Mrs. Dusty Kay and Madison in Sharon. Mr. and Mrs. Coryer Poss visited Mr. and Mrs. Evans Davis Sunday evening. Whitney Branham was among the youth group of the Tignall Baptist Church who enjoyed going to the log cabin built by Almond Standard where they had a cookout and a hayride Sunday night.
