Funeral services for Joseph Watson "Jody" Tidd, 27, of Tifton were held Monday, October 30, 2006, in the chapel of Albritton- Beaumont Funeral Directors with Dr. Fred M. Evers and Rev. Calvin Bobo officiating. Burial was in Tift Memorial Gardens. He died Friday, October 27, at his residence.

Mr. Tidd was a native of Tifton and was the son of Tony Harold Tidd and Elise Kelly Tidd Overstreet. He was the grandson of the late Robert R. Kelly and Thelma D. and Carl Ivey. He was a lifetime resident of

Tifton and had lived briefly in Murphy, N.C. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Tosha Tidd of Tifton; children, Trista and Jaiden Tidd of Tifton, and Braeden Tidd of Blairsville; a sister, Anna T. Chandler, Tifton; step-brother, Chris Overstreet, West Berrien; step-sister, Shelly Coarsey, Tifton; and grandparents, Louise Kelly of Tifton, Margie Kirkpatrick, Eldorado, David and Betty Joe Overstreet, Fitzgerald.
