Mattie Heard, daughter of Richard and Lou Heard, was three years old on October 10 and celebrated with a party at her home on Sunday, October 15.

Mattie and her guests enjoyed her Care Bear party. Care Bear balloons were used in decorating.

Her Care Bear cake was served with ice cream.

Celebrating with Mattie and her parents were her brother, Hank; grandparents, Buck and Linda Echols and Danny and Gail Heard, of Rayle; great-grandmother, Betty Shedd of Tignall; also, Scott, Cissy and Abby Smith, Angela, Cody and Hunter Armour, Russ and Erin McElhannon, Laura Heard, and Jason and Jenny Dove.
