Funeral services for Milton "Jack" Dorsey, 63, of Sharon were held Friday, November 3, 2006, at the New Hope CME Church, Sharon, with Rev. Lester Woods and Rev. Freddie Woods officiating. Interment was on the Dorsey family estate. He died Saturday, October 28, at Thomson Manor, Thomson.

Mr. Dorsey was a native of Taliaferro County and was the son of Edna Dorsey Binns and the late Hayward Woods. He was a mem- ber of New Hope CME Church.

Survivors include his mother, Edna D. Binns of Sharon; three sisters, Mary Bryant of Hoschton, Andrea Sims of Atlanta, and Susie Bolton of Sharon; six brothers, Hayward Woods Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Rev. Freddie Woods, Robert Woods, Roy Woods, and Johnny Woods, all of Atlanta.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
