Plans have been finalized for the Senior Citizen Holiday Trip to the Commerce Outlet Stores.

The trip is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, and will leave promptly at 8:30 a.m. and return between 4 and 5 p.m.

Reservations are being taken at the Senior Center on Marshall Street. The cost is $10 for Senior Center members and $15 for nonmembers and does include lunch.

The trip is partially reserved, so those interested should contact Diana Hall at the Center immediately at 706-678-2518, Monday through Friday. Once the trip is filled, names will be put on a waiting list. There may be last minute cancellations which will allow those on the waiting list to be added.

A special meeting will be held on Thursday morning, November 30, 10 a.m., at the Center to discuss details of the trip. All those planning to make the trip are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. Anyone who cannot attend the meeting should notify Diana Hall at 706- 678-2518 in order to arrange to pick up the trip information.

The trip is an activity of the Senior Citizen Advisory Council and is funded through proceeds from Senior Center craft sales and by Wilkes County.
