Graveside services for Roselle Caroline Dawkins, 92, were held Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Tignall, with Rev. T.G. Hall officiating. She died Sunday, November 12, at Wilkes Health Care Center, Washington.

Miss Dawkins was a native of Parksville, S.C., and was the daughter of the late William H. Dawkins and Nettie Kelsie Bolman Dawkins. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Sudie Sims Sunday School Class.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included Tommy Cunningham Jr., Danny Dawkins, John W. "Bill" Dawkins, Sammy Dawkins, Thomas Dawkins, Jack Heard, Tab Reed and Bryan Snider.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3449 Pine Grove Church Road, Lincolnton, Ga. 30817.

Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
