Amberly Aycock honored at bridal shower in Lincolnton November 12
Amberly Aycock, bride-elect of Phil Roberts, was honored at a dropin kitchen shower on Sunday, November 12, given by June Cox and her daughter Catherine at their home in Lincolnton.
For the occasion Miss Aycock wore a lime green sweater and brown pants. She was presented a corsage of blush sweetheart roses.
As guests arrived, they registered in the bride's book on a table on the front porch festively decorated in a fall motif.
The fall decorating scheme continued inside the home.
In keeping with the kitchen shower theme, guests gathered
around the spacious kitchen island for a delicious assortment of refreshments that included pumpkin bread, miniature pecan pie muffins, cheese straws, apple-Vidalia onion dip with gingersnaps, hot cranberry tea and iced tea.
The hostesses presented the brideelect a fall entertainment basket filled with varied appetizers and delicacies.
Approximately 20 guests attended Special guests included the brideelect's mother, Velda Aycock and grandmother, Ina Spratlin, both of Lincolnton, and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Barbara Roberts of Washington.
