Liz Grant, catcher for the Lady Bucs softball team at Briarwood Academy in Warrenton, has received several honors at the completion of the softball season.

Liz was named All Region for 1AA GISA and was named All State Catcher for AA. She was also invited to play in the GISA State All Star game at Mount de Sales Academy in Macon.

She has been the starting fast pitch catcher for the Lady Bucs since she was in the ninth grade and served as a captain of this year's team.

Liz has been recruited by Wesleyan College in Macon to play softball for the Lady Pioneers. She is the daughter of Bill and Melissa Grant of Washington.
