Carly Cosby and her horse Cody received awards at the Kel-Mac Open Horse Show in Morgan County. Carly Cosby and her horse Cody received awards at the Kel-Mac Open Horse Show in Morgan County. Carly Cosby and her horse Cody participated in the 2006 Kel-Mac Open Horse Show in Morgan County Saturday, October 21.

They received the following awards:

First in open walk-trot horsemanship for all ages; second place in beginner junior walk-trot western pleasure and beginner junior walktrot horsemanship (13 and under); third in beginner walk-trot-canter, one at a time, hunt seat and western (all ages); fourth in beginner western walk-trot championship (all ages) and beginning trail; and sixth in open walk-trot western pleasure (all ages).

Carly is a sixth grade student at Washington-Wilkes Middle School. She is the daughter of David and Betty Cosby and granddaughter of Wadine Cosby. She was sponsored by Rockin' Rooster owned by her aunt, Joyce Hardy.

Attending the show were her mother, her instructor, owner of Trinity Ranch, Debbie Merkett, and Lynn Thomasson of Tignall.
