Officers of the Washington- Wilkes chapter of FBLA traveled to Athens for the Fall Leadership Conference on November 17-18.

John Lovvorn, James Cade, and Tyson Gilland participated in the "Invention Convention" competition in which they were challenged to invent a product beneficial to mankind from a bag full of household objects. They also took part in the Monopoly team competition along with Jessica Echols, Brittney Anderson, and Brittney Davis.

The officers also participated in leadership sessions throughout the weekend. FBLA members will be traveling in January to the Region Leadership Conference, and then in March to the State Leadership Conference.
