Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty and Mrs. Cheryle Holsclaw went to Jackson to have Thanksgiving dinner with Ricky's mother, Mrs. Judy Strickland, and other family members. Jason and Rebecca Deweese spent the Thanksgiving holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Deweese. They joined her father, Don McNeill, and family members for Thanksgiving dinner at his home in Augusta. Mrs. James Sherrer and Mrs. Philip Huff visited Mrs. Statham Huff at Wesley Commons Health Center in Greenwood, S.C., Monday. Her son, John Fradella, joined them for lunch at Ryan's. James Sherrer went to Royston Monday to see Mrs. Myrtice Webb. They went to school together at Comer and had not seen each other for many years. After attending prayer meeting at Clifford's Grove Wednesday night, Mrs. Coryer Poss and Mrs. James Sherrer visited Mrs. Evans Davis. After her doctor's appointment in Lexington, S.C., Mrs. John Sutherland, Terry Bradford, and Mrs. Juanita Bradford visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Scoggins and Hannah of Augusta visited Mrs. Evans Davis Sunday and attended services with her at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church. David Hopkins and grandson, Seth Cook, of Augusta visited briefly with Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Saturday morning. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer joined members of Wilkes County Baptist Church and enjoyed the covered dish meal Sunday.
