Free legal help set for January 2 at local library

The Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) provides free legal help to low-income people with civil (non-criminal) legal problems.

A person from the GLSP staff will travel to meet with people wanting this free legal help in Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Lincoln counties on the first Tuesday of each month on a first-come, first-served basis.

The next scheduled visit is on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m., at the Mary Willis Library, 204 East Liberty Street, Washington.

The GLSP office which serves Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Lincoln counties is in Augusta at 209 Seventh Street, Suite 400.
