Jillian Malena Wells Adam Laurie Andrews Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wells of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Jillian Malena, to Adam Laurie Andrews, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Andrews, also of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Martin Wesley Johnson Jr. and the late Mr. Johnson of Ludowici and Mrs. Leland Quinton Wells and the late Mr. Wells of Flemington.

She is a 2000 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2004 graduate of Piedmont College, Athens campus, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. In 2005 she graduated from Piedmont College with a Masters of Art in Teaching-Early Childhood. Miss Wells is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher employed by the Wilkes County Board of Education.

Mr. Andrews is the grandson of Mrs. Susie B. Andrews of Lincolnton, the late Henry Andrews, the late Laurie A. Lunceford and the late Joyce Glover Lunceford Goodwin.

He is a 1997 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is current owner of NAPA Auto Parts in Washington. In addition he holds a Georgia Real Estate license and is employed under Georgia Realty Sales Inc., also in Washington.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 5, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington.
